NEW KID IN TOWN..BOUCKVILLE GENERAL STORE

OMG..WE WENT TO THE BOUCKVILLE GENERAL STORE FOR DINNER LAST NIGHT..WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT..SO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE..ALL REMODELED AND JUST SO PLEASANT..THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE ATMOSPHERE GREATER...NICE INTERESTING MENU..THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE WHEN YOU ARE DOWN IN THE MADISON BOUCKVILLE AREA SHOPPING FOR ANTIQUES..I GOT AN IDEA..COME SHOP AT MY PLACE AND EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY AT THE BOUCKVILLE GENERAL STORE..RT 20 BOUCKVILLE NY..

IT'S MONDAY AND I AM TIRED

WELL ITS MONDAY NIGHT AND I AM TIRED..OUT ALL DAY LOOKING FOR GOODIES AND I FOUND SOME COOL ITEMS..MY FRIEND TOM IS MAKING THE NEATEST FOLK ART FURNITURE..WE WENT TO THIER SHOP AND I PICKED OUT A COUPLE OF ITEMS TO BRING BACK TO MY SHOP TO SELL..HE AND HIS WIFE SUE HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY SAWING, NAILING AND PAINTING TRYING TO GET READY FOR UPCOMING SHOWS..I WILL MAKE SURE I GET A GREAT PICTURE FOR EVERYONE TO VIEW..I HIT A FEW THRIFT SHOPS AS WELL..WILL ADD SOME PICTURES TOMORROW..HAVE A GREAT EVENING AND TALK TO YOU SOON

A GREAT DAY OF PICKING

DON AND I WENT PICKING TODAY AND BROUGHT HOME SOME GREAT PIECES..IT WAS RAINING LIKE MAD..WE WERE UP TO OUT KNEES IN WATER, BUT THAT CERTAINLY WON'T STOP US FROM BUYING MORE GOODIES FOR THE SHOP..ITS BEEN QUITE INTERESTING ALL THE DIFFERENT ITEMS OUT THERE..LOTS OF ESTATE SALES AND OF COURSE LOTS OF COLLECTIBLES..CHECK OUT WHAT I HAVE ADDED.. ..GETTING READY TO OPEN MY SHOP HAVE TO GO FOR NOW..HAVE A GREAT DAY

Halfway through the season...

Well its about 1/2 through the season and we are full of many wonderful items..our outdoor garage is busting at the seams and well as the shop..Its been a busy summer so far with many unique items to offer our customers..Take a ride out and visit us on scenic Route 20..

Madison Bouckville Show

We are all getting ready for the Madison Bouckville Antique show that will unofficially start on August 16. People will begin to set up tents to get ready for a week of antiquing.. Offically on August 21 the big field opens,where you will fing more upscale items....In total we have over 1000 venders..It is a wonderful week full of great treasure hunting as well as plenty of food..check out all our tents along the side sof the road from Cherry valley to Pinewoods...I will have a huge tent set up in my front yard with many more great buys like the ones found in my shop..I will have extended hours the week of August 15-22..my hours will be 9am- 6 pm....Hope to see you there..

Welcome to a "Little Taste of Nostaglia"

Here in my little shop on State Route 20 in Sangerfield N.Y. you will find alot of everything from those little reminders of days gone by:..Grandma's kitchen, set up like you came to visit..All the colors of home in the 40's and 50's..aqua blue and pink...red, black and white all displayed in grandmas cabinet..Lots of vintage linens take up one whole closet..colorful tableclothes, aprons and vintage fabrics...and of course we cannot forget about those vintage glasses,like sassy swigs and printed juice glasses in many colors...We have pyrex..Do we have pyrex!!..In all colors, shapes and sizes..and then there is....enamelware, fire king, canisters, cookie cutters, advertising tins.....oh my and that is just the kitchen... I won't mention the homemade jams and jellies then or the nostalgic candies and well......Well I guess you will have to take a ride out to see us at Hannah Leigh Antiques to see the rest.. I am not lettin the cat out of the bag..Just a little friendly shop with reasonable prices. You will certainly go home happy...
